DISTRIBUTION
Inclusion of any part of this archive on a CAM DISK, or on the
CAM/RCS BBS is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
Distribution of merged or modified archives via the SAN fileecho
is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
If you have obtained this archive from one of these sources, there
will be NO support.

THIS IS A BETA TEST VERSION
It should not be treated as a release version. It may take just
up disk space or cause more Lemmings to die, your hard disks to stop
spinning, and un-expected visits from old enemies. It is definitely
not guaranteed to work, and does not come with completed
documentation.
You are also asked NOT to re-distribute this file as newer
versions are always available here.
If you have received this via the SAN file network, the contents
are OBSOLETE. The file has been modified and distributed against my
wishs. Delete it from your system, there will be no support for the
modified obsolete versions distributed via SAN.
If any of the above bothers you, just delete this version from your
system, and forget that it exists.
********* WARNING *********
Versions of wpl.library other than nn.nn.01 make use of 'KPrintF'
debug statements. If one is using the internal port (serial.device),
they *MUST* run SUSHI which re-directs this output to the appropriate
location. Failure to do so will cause network session failures to
occur!
The WB 2.1 Version will NOT give you the full version number of
the library, use instead: "SEARCH LIBS:wpl.library $VER:"
Operation of this product with versions of libraries other than
those included (either older OR newer) may produce unpredictable
results. In particular, the versions of wpl.library, wplemsi.library,
xprzedzap.library and xferq.library herein, while they are completelt
compatible and will work with other wpl mailers, either include
bug-fixes or features not avialable in versions available elsewhere.
This product is in constant development and is archived
automatically EVERY morning. In the normal course of development, it
is possible that as new features are added, bugs are introduced.
While I strive to remove these as quickly as possible, this is not
always the case. In most cases, it will be fixed in the next day's
archive or in the unarchived version of a module. All .rexx and
.wplrx modules are freqable under the filename and are always current.
Please, READ the History.Shelter file to note changes in
configuration, operation or documentation.
The ROOF System serves as my development testbed for new features.
When I am satisfied with the operation of these features under ROOF, I
then add them to the freely available Shelter Mailers. I do not
always test them though, that is YOUR job as a BETA Tester. Please
note that I am famous for 'unmatched quote' errors :)
Bug reports not submitted and received on the same day as
generation of the archive, may quite possibly be too late. This is
especially true if the bug occurs on startup or during normal
sessions. Bug Fixes, enhancements and announcements for all Roof and
Shelter products are automatically posted nightly in the ROOF_PROJECT
and FALCON_CBCS echos. These are also prepended to the History file
in each archive. It is highly recommended that all beta testers
receive this echo and read the history file.
Major announcements are posted in the FIDONET echos:
FALCON_CBCS, AMY_POINT, AMIGA_SYSOP, WELMAT
and the AmigaNet echos:
COMMS_AMY, NETDEV_AMY, SYSOP_AMY
as well as in the usenet newsgroup:
comp.sys.amiga.datacomm.
I find it strange that I have to add this, I had thought this
would be obvious:
BETA TESTERS SHOULD NOT POST BUG REPORTS IN THESE ECHOS.
The ROOF_PROJECT echo is available from:
1:167/151 (14.4bps/Zyxel)
1:167/207 (14.4bps)
1:167/104 (14.4bps)
UPDATES:
Diff Updates are available daily and are uploaded occasionaly
to AmiNet.
